A wild welcome from Being Wood.

A small, peaceful woodland with sea views, our space is offered with one simple intention: to give people a chance to switch off, slow down, and reconnect — with nature, with others, and with themselves.

Just a short walk to from the village of Porlock and its beautiful coast, this little patch of Exmoor feels pretty special. With birdsong in the trees, wild ponies on the hills, and stars overhead at night, it’s a place for rest and retreat and the perfect base for exploring Exmoor. 
 

Whether you’re here to camp under the stars, host a retreat, or just breathe deeply for a while — you’re warmly welcome.
